Liquor Room Refrigeration

We recently completed the refrigeration installation for a new liquor room in Jindabyne.

It was our pleasure to deliver a reliable refrigeration system designed to keep the room operating at the required temperature year-round.

Turning One Into Two

Our customer had an existing 10-door glass freezer lineup, but wanted to transform it into two separate sections — a 5-door freezer and a 5-door liquor cabinet.

The existing refrigeration system wasn't going to suit the new setup, so rather than trying to make one oversized condensing unit do the job, we engineered two independent refrigeration systems — one dedicated to each cabinet.

This meant selecting and sizing each system specifically for its application, giving the customer the right amount of refrigeration capacity where it was needed.

A great project from start to finish, and one of our favourites at Forge — taking an existing setup and completely rethinking it to better suit the customer's needs.

Our customer came to us looking to upgrade the condensing units on their existing coolroom and freezer room, with the original units starting to show their age.

We supplied and installed new condensing units to bring the systems up to date, improving reliability and giving the refrigeration equipment a fresh start for the years ahead.

Sometimes the best refrigeration repair is the one you never have to make — upgrading ageing equipment before it becomes a problem.

Bigger Room. Bigger Challenge.

Our customer had outgrown their existing freezer room and was upgrading to a larger room to meet their growing needs. To maximise the value of their existing equipment, we designed the new system to incorporate the existing evaporator alongside a new evaporator, providing the additional capacity required for the larger room.

With no three-phase power available on site, selecting the right condensing unit presented another challenge. The angled roof also required careful planning and installation to ensure the evaporators were correctly positioned and the system operated efficiently.

A challenging project with a practical solution — combining existing equipment with new technology to deliver the capacity our customer needed.
